Our client is a national aerospace electronics manufacturer based in Minnesota with additional remote operations. They have earned and enjoyed a reputation for quality and delivery. Through a combination of company growth and employee retirements a need developed to lead engineering.
In order to maintain growth and reputation in a tight industry a unique leader was sought. Requirements were broad and demanding, including education and success in engineering, management, and client facing skills, plus a needed culture fit. TRS Consulting was engaged to identify and source candidates nationally and confidentially.
TRS Consulting recruited numerous candidates with the proper experience locally and nationally, under the handicap of keeping the client identity confidential. Candidates were vetted and confidential phone interviews with the client proceeded. The final two candidates were selected and brought to Minnesota for rounds of interviews. When the finalist was selected, TRS Consulting assisted with negotiating an offer and relocation.
Subsequently, TRS Consulting has been tapped to recruit for additional midlevel and upper level leadership positions in operations, sales, and general management.
